Read Aloud Novel Study

We have finished the first half of the novel “The Indian in the Cupboard”. We have been focusing on finding the important ideas and visualization. The students take visual jot notes as I read, then transfer those into written jot notes. Every couple of chapters, they create a good copy of a full chapter summary and a full illustration. We will make a big book when have finished the novel.
